PURPOSE:To obtain the titled copolymer capable of giving high fastness to dyed material especially with reactive dye, by copolymerization between a diallylmethylamine and diallylamine of each specific formula in a specific molar ratio. CONSTITUTION:The objective copolymer can be obtained by copolymerization, in the presence of radical polymerization initiator, between (A) a diallylamine of formula II (R3 and R4 are each H or CH3) in a molar ratio (A)/(B) of 95-50/5-50. This copolymer is constituted by two kinds of structural units (C)of formula III and (D) of formula IV, respectively, in a weight ratio (C)/(D) of 95-50/5-50.
