PURPOSE:To form a smoothly and uniformly coated film wherein the adhesive force between the coated film and metal is strong by fusing the powdery substance of polyphenyl sulfide resin on the metallic body to form the film, quenching it, thereafter pressurizing and reheating it to crosslink it. CONSTITUTION:The powdery substance of polyphenyl sulfide resin is fused on the metallic body to form the resin film having the required thickness and this resin film is quenched and coagulated. Thereafter the resin film is reheated for the specified time in the pressurized state and crosslinked. In such a way, since air and gas are completely dispersed to the outside and the melted resin is pushed into the inside of the holes, smooth and uniform coated film which is strong in the adhesive force, and free from pinholes is formed.
