The object of the invention is to combine a wood-heated bread oven with an ornamental chimney or with a stove chimney in concomitant operation. This combination is the essential result of the fact that the bread oven is situated directly behind the heart 1 of the chimney, the base of the oven 2 being approximately at mid height between the hearth plate (or fireplace) 3 and the beginning of the gulley 4, the mouth of the oven 5 being made directly in the heart 1. A removable element 7 may close the oven in line with the heart 1. This arrangement makes it possible to make openings 6 in the heart 1 between the hearth plate 3 and the base of the oven 2, which openings 6 are connected to pipes for heating the oven. <IMAGE>
