PURPOSE:To improve customer service by storing a monetary amount data each transaction in an IC card, integrating the data within the integration period, calculating the total sum and deciding the discount rate based on the total sum data. CONSTITUTION:When a customer makes a shopping at a shop, the operator loads an IC card 4 to a card insertion slit 11 of a terminal device 1, then power is supplied to a CPU 7, a ROM 9 and a RAM 10 being components of the IC card 4 from the terminal device side. When the CPU 7 completes reading of a transaction data from a transaction data file, the purchased total sum data within the integration period summed by an addition area is transmitted to the terminal device 1. When the terminal device 1 receives the purchased total sum data from the IC card 4, the CPU subtracts the discount amount obtain the actual purchased amount, which is displayed on a display device. In this case, when the date data read by a read means is not within the integration period, the said monetary data is integrated and the date data and the monetary data are erased from the transaction table. |
