FLUORESCENT CHARACTER DISPLAY TUBE

摘要

PURPOSE:To establish reduction of the weight and thickness of a large size of display tube by oppositely providing a front face side spacer on the basic plate of an anode and a back face side spacer on the back face plate and sandwiching a control electrode between the spacers to fix it. CONSTITUTION:The vacuum container of a fluorescent character display tube includes the front face side spacers 5 formed in a predetermined distance on the anode conductor 4 of an anode basic plate 1 along the direction crossing with the anode conductor 4 and a control electrode 7 mounted on the front face side spacer 5. A back face side spacer 13 is provided on an insulation layer 11 and between the flat cathodes 12 so as to face the front face side spacer 5. Therefore, even when a large size of graphic display tube is provided, the thickness of the anode basic plate 1 and back face plate 2 can be reduced less than the conventional and the weight can also be reduced.
