A coupling box is provided with a corresp. cover. It has four foundations (1) fitted at a predetermined distance from one another, each supporting a column (10) carrying guides and supports for a locking and displaceable bridge movable along the columns with corresp. fixture fillets for different types of coupling units. The foundations have recesses (3) for application of one or more fillets (4). The outer contour of the box is limited by loose, assemblable and dismantlable side walls (9). The displaceable bridge may adopt two fixed positions, the upper one for cable coupling and the lower one for reducing the junction box height. The fillets are connected by friction in recesses (3) in the foundations so that the fillets, when pressed downwards by their ends, are locked when the bridge is in its lowest position. |
