PURPOSE:To obtain a simple moving mechanism of a bias magnetic field by equipping a sliding plate for interlocking with the action of a pickup device on a disk clamp supporting plate on a disk jacket carrier and installing a bias magnetic field generating coil thereon. CONSTITUTION:When a disk jacket 31 is inserted into the disk jacket carrier 32, the carrier 32 shifts along a guide pin 33 and the horizontal part of the reverse-L shaped guide groove 34 of a disk side plate. Simultaneously the disk clamp supporting plate 38 descends along a cam part 35 and a guide groove 41, while a disk clamp 36 is set to the prescribed position with respect to the disk in the disk jacket. The disk clamp is attracted by a spring 43 to drop vertically and its action is completed, and accordingly preparations for the recording and erasing of the disk is completed. Simultaneously the slide plate 61 fixed to the bias magnetic field generating coil also drops, and an engaging hole 61d installed on the end part is engaged with the engaging pin 64 of the pickup 63 to interlock with the action of said pin.
