PURPOSE:To improve customer service by storing monetary data at each transaction to an IC card and integrating the monetary data within the integration period to calculate the total sum and decide the discount rate based on the total sum data. CONSTITUTION:When a customer makes shopping at a shop, the operator loads an IC card 4 to a card loading slit 11 of a terminal device 1 and power is applied to a CPU, a ROM and a RAM being components of the IC card 4 from the terminal device. When a CPU 7 of the IC card 4 completes the read of a transaction data from a transaction data file, the CPU 7 transmits a purchased total monetary data within the integration period added in the addition area to the terminal device 1. When the terminal device 1 receives the purchased total monetary amount data from the IC card 4, the CPU 17 subtracts the discount monetary amount calculated based on the discount rate from the purchased schedule amount to obtain the actual purchased amount, which is displayed on a display device 15. In this case, when the date data read by a read means is not within the integration period, the date data and the monetary data are erased from the transaction table. |
