PURPOSE:To improve resolution in the output face ad form a clear photographed image by providing a correcting means for correcting astigmatism based on the arrangement and configuration of an electron lens system in the electron lens system of X-ray and fluorescence intensifying tube. CONSTITUTION:A grid electrode 10 provided in the inside wall of the outer container 4 of a X-ray-fluorescence intensifying tube includes the electrodes 13a-13d equally divided into four parts, it can set at the equal potential the opposing electrodes 13a and 13b and 13c and 13d, and is connected so that the non-opposing electrodes can hold the different potential. The grid electrode 10 and anode electrode 7 serve to radiate the electron from the photoelectronic face of the input face 5 held at the cathode potential to the output face 8 through focusing and acceleration to form the image of the photographed substance. The image of the photographed substance has a low resolution because of the astigmatism based on the arrangement and configuration of the electrode, but a clear photographed substance image can be formed on the output face 8 by controlling the potential on the electrodes 13a-13d obtained by dividing the grid electrode 10. |
