PURPOSE:To improve engine stability and to clean exhaust by installing a control section for corrective control to change feedback control constant according to a gradient of an exhaust sensor's output wave form, and to immediately return air fuel ratio to the proper level. CONSTITUTION:A control valve 8 to adjust air-fuel ratio inside an inlet air duct 10 works according to control signals from a control section 4. An O2 sensor sensor 6 detects density of O2 contained in exhaust gas, and its information is transmitted to the control section 4. The control section 4 changes feedback control constant according to a gradient of output wave form of the O2 sensor 6 for corrective control to immediately return air-fuel ratio to the proper level. This can eventually improve engine stability as well as clean exhaust gas.
