PURPOSE:To improve fatigue due to light and stability in a continuous operation by incorporating a specific siloxane - bisphenol carbonate block polymer to the titled body as a binding agent for forming a charge generating layer and/or a charge transferring layer. CONSTITUTION:The above described block polymer shown by the formula wherein R1, R2, R3, R4, R5, R6, R7 and R8 are each a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, an lower alkyl group, X is -O-, -CO-, -S-, -SO2- binding group and an alkylene group, R9 and R10 are each a lower alkyl group, (m)/(m+n) is 0.2-0.8, is used as the prescribed binder.
