PURPOSE:To enable the smooth delivery of a yarn, and to improve the success ratio of the delivery of a yarn without using a large-sized apparatus nor a complicate operation, by dividing a piecing arm into two parts, and indirectly bonding the parts flexibly with each other. CONSTITUTION:The yarn end of the package 14 is sucked by the package suction mouth 1, transferred to a definite position separated from the package 14, and inserted between a pair of piecing rollers 3 with the yarn insertion guide 2. The first piecing arm 4 is supported rotatably by the first-arm revolution axis 21. the rear end of the second piecing arm 5 is bonded rotatably to the front end of the arm 4 via the second-arm revolution axis 22. The piecing unit 15 is supported to the front end of the arm 5 via the piecing unit revolution actuator 18 in a manner rotatable round the axis of the arm 5. The reverse- passing tube 6 for threading the yarn through the air-twisting nozzle 8 is supported rotatably to the arm 5 via the axis 28. |
