The subject of the invention is a first certificate of addition to French Patent No. 2,442,427 filed on 24th November 1978 for a one-piece projectile device launched by a portable firearm. It consists of the combination of the body of the hard-metal profiled bullet 3, first with a soft-metal encasing covering 7 having three fins at 120 DEG 8, 9 and then with a light synthetic-resin stabilising tail unit 11 of conical cross-section which undergoes the entire propulsive effect. It is intended for improving the ballistics of the projectile for smooth-barrelled hunting rifles, choked or not, in terms of the balancing and stabilisation of the bullet and its penetration and accuracy. <IMAGE>
