PURPOSE:To obtain the titled sheet capable of giving a stable waterproofing layer without vulcanization, by compounding a depolymerized butyl rubber with an ethylene-propylene rubber and a filler, etc., to obtain a composition to a sheet, and heat-treating the sheet to effect the secondary agglomeration. CONSTITUTION:The objective sheet can be produced by compounding (A) 100 pts.(wt.) of a butyl rubber obtained by the depolymerization of vulcanized butyl rubber in the heat-plasticization step with (B) 3-30pts. of an ethylene-propylene rubber, (C) 30-100pts. of a filler, and (D) a stabilizer and a softener, kneading the mixture uniformly to obtain a rubber compound having a Mooney plasticity (ML1+4) of 40-70, forming to a sheet, and heat-treating the sheet to effect the secondary agglomeration. The sheet can be used without vulcanization. |
