PURPOSE:To make centering operation for a ball screw performable so easily, by performing the centering so as to accord a shaft core of the ball screw with a table moving direction in the state that a table is connected to a motor through a jig. CONSTITUTION:A table 14 of a machine tool and a motor 16, moving this table 14 with a ball screw 17 driven, are assembled together with a jig 22. The stable 14 is mounted on a built-up mount 21 upside down, and an internal thread box 18 is attached to the backside of the table 14. And, the table 14 is connected to the motor 16 through the jig 22, and centering between the internal thread box 18 and the ball screw 17 takes place so as to accord a shaft core of the ball screw 17 with a moving direction of the table 14. A connecting body consisting of the internal thread box 18, the table 14 and the motor 16 is mounted on a bed 12 with the table 14 turned its surface up. Under this condition, the motor 16 is tightly attached to the bed 12 and after that, the jig 22 is removed from the table 14 and the motor 16. |
