A shuttleless loom comprises a weft thread carrier throwing device (7) and a recovering device (15), and providing for a substantial halting of each of the weft thread carriers (14) prior to the throwing thereof, the throwing device (7) includes a rotary member (8) set for substantially continuous rotation and cooperating with a fixed casing (9) to define an open throwing track (10) for the weft thread carriers (14). An accumulator chamber (13) is located substantially adjacent to the inlet end of the weft thread carrier and operative to withhold one weft thread carrier supplied by the recovering device. A feeder is located substantially between the accumulator chamber (13) and the open throwing track and operative to insert the weft thread carriers one by one from the chamber into the track. <IMAGE> |
