<p>PURPOSE:To make it possible to move a vehicle at a crawling speed without depression of an accelerator pedal, by providing a creep mode switch for holding such a condition that a clutch is engaged while slipping when this switch is turned on. CONSTITUTION:An automatic clutch control device detects the rotational speed of an engine 1 by means of a sensor 1A, and delivers the detection signal to a program control circuit 4 from which a control signal is delivered to an air-servo mechanism for driving an actuator 6, and therefore, a clutch in a clutch section 2 is engaged and disengaged. In the above-mentioned arrangement, there is provided a creep mode switch 10. When this switch 10 is turned on by the driver, the control circuit 4 controls the clutch so that the clutch is held to be engaged while slipping. Further, when an accelerator pedal 7A is depressed, an accelerator detecting switch 11 detects this condition, and therefore, the turned-on condition of the creep mode switch 10 may be released.</p> |
