Process for producing buildings, in particular for living purposes, from prefabricated unitised units which are arranged on a foundation, and unitised units used for this purpose. Said unitised units are assigned to one another such that an angle is formed in the case of two unitised units, and a central room which is open on approximately one side is formed in the case of three or more unitised units in a U-shaped arrangement or, if these are in a rectangular arrangement, an approximately closed central room is formed, the openings leading outward from the central room are closed by doors and/or windows, and a roof is fitted over the central room and unitised units.
