In this apparatus, a first display element on which the positions on the circumference thereof are likened to the compass directions on the ecliptic of the sun, and a second display element on which differences between the compass directions of the sun on birthdays and the compass directions of the moon (a satellite of the earth), i.e. status phases or fortune information corresponding to the status phases are shown are provided coaxially. At least one of these display elements is positioned by turning the same by a means for setting the compass direction of the moon so that the relative positional relation between the origin of the second display element and the position of the sun at present on the first display element substantially agrees with the actual difference between the compass direction of the sun and that of the moon (a satellite of the earth) at present. After this position-setting operation has been completed, a status phase or fortune can be determined with reference to the description on the second display element, which corresponds to the position of the sun on a birthday on the first display element.
|
