3-Diacylaminobenzisothiazole S,S-dioxides of the formula <IMAGE> in which R1 denotes C1-C10-alkyl, phenyl or C1-C10-alkyl which is substituted by halogen or C1-C5-alkoxy, and R2, R3, R4 and R5 independently of one another denote hydrogen, halogen, C1-C5-alkyl, C1-C5-alkoxy, trifluoromethyl, amino or C1-C5-alkylthio. A process for the preparation of these 3-diacylaminobenzisothiazole S,S-dioxides and their use in pest control are described.
