<p>PURPOSE:To improve the steering performance of a rear power steering independently of the magnitude of load by installing a rear power steering having the output permitting rest wing over the whole range of turning angle in case of the max. axle weight of rear wheel axles. CONSTITUTION:In the captioned system a pair of front-wheel axles are steered through a front power steering 11 by the operation of a steering wheel 13, and a pair of rear-wheel axles for the rear wheels 53 and 54 are steered by transmitting the steering output of the power steering 11 into a rear power steering 12 through a control cable 14. The rear power steering 12 is constituted so that the max. output of the rear-wheel axles for the max. axle weight of the rear wheel axles is equal to the output necessary for the rest swing over the whole range of the turning angle. Therefore, turning over the whole range of the turning angle in case of the rest swing max. axle weight of the rear wheel axles is permitted, and steering performance can be improved.</p> |
