PURPOSE:To enable automatic iron core stacking as each part is driven one by one and a series of operations are repeated by inputting the orders of the initial position of insertion, centering, and the predetermined number of iron plates to be inserted to the control section of the said apparatus. CONSTITUTION:By supplying air or some other fluid to a ring-type cylinder 13a in a chucking section 7, an opening/closing chucking pawl 10, a forced chucking pawl 12 and an electromagnet 11 built in the forced chucking pawl 12 are simultaneously actuated to hold firmly a stacking unit of iron plates 9a, which is subsequently moved with the operation of a vertically conveying arm 16, a rotation driving section 17 and a horizontally conveying arm 3. If a sensor 18 such as a proximity switch or a limit switch fit at the tip of the pawl 10a of the opening/closing chucking pawl 10 detects the end of the yoke iron core 9, the cylinder 13a is actuated to open the opening/closing chucking pawl 10. Succeedingly the piling unit of iron plates 9a is pushed into a predetermined position at predetermined pressure with the aid of a pressure sensor 20 fit to the chucking section 7. |
