The invention relates to an inward and outward transfer station for a roller conveyor with transport rollers driven by a belt. The essence of the invention is to provide at least one transport band which is guided parallel to the transport rollers, as desired above and below their transporting plane, runs endlessly around deflecting rollers and the driving deflecting roller of which can be coupled by means of a controllable engaging and disengaging element to the belt driving the transport rollers.
