PURPOSE:To prevent any burr from being formed around an insert anchoring leg, by forming a clearance with prescribed dimensions or less between a mold and an insert at a desired part when molding is effected, and sealing a pressurized fluid in the clearance followed by molding. CONSTITUTION:In the case of a horn pad of an automobile, an insert 12 is set in a top force 15, and pressurized air is flown at all times via a communicating hole 15c into each recess 15b of the top force 15. A bottom force 16 is moved up to close the mold 14, and then an urethane foam material M is injected into a cavity 14a to mold a covering layer 13. In this case, although the urethane foam material M is fed to a clearance around each insert leg 12a, and inclines to go into the recess 15 of the top force 15 due to its blowing pressure, since the pressurized air in the recess 15c is present in the clearance between the top force 15 and the insert 12, the urethane foam material M is prevented from going around the recess 15c of the top force, and a covering layer 13 is formed with each insert anchoring leg 12a having no burr. |
