<p>This electric-resistance seam-welding method for welding difficult-to-weld steel plate suppresses the generation of burrs. The steel plate has coating layers of a metal harder than tin and an intermetallic compound. The thickness of the steel plate is not more than 0.5 mm. The overlap width of the steel plate is greater than 2.0 times the plate thickness, but is less than 2.4 times the plate thickness. The weldable current range of steel plate can be increased by this means.</p> |
