METHOD OF MEASURING PHASE OF IDENTIFYING POINT

PURPOSE:To attain ease of measurement of a phase at an identifying point by changing a duty ratio of a CMI code of an input signal while a code error rate of an output signal of a reception circuit is being obserbed to obtain the phase of an identifying point from the duty ratio when a code error rate of the output signal is changed largely. CONSTITUTION:In measuring a code identifying phase of a reception circuit of a digital communication equipment using a CMI code for a transmission code, a CMI code generator 12 is connected to the input side of a measured reception circuit 11 and a CMI code generated by the generator 12 is inputted to a code error rate measuring device 13 connected to the output side of the circuit 11. The duty ratio of the CMI code generated by the generator 12 is changed slowly and the measuring device 13 observes the error rate of the output from the reception circuit 11. Then the identifying point phase is obtained easily from the duty ratio when the output error rate of the reception circuit 11 is changed largely.
