PURPOSE:To previously make the rear end section of a side gate which is arranged on each side of a deck about against an obstacle to protect a post unit, by storing the post unit in a notch section formed in the rear end of the deck so that the post unit is disposed in the inside of the rear end section of the side gate. CONSTITUTION:A rear gate 6 is composed of a plurality of subgate elements 6a, 6b which are connected by a hinge member 12, and therefore, the hinge member 12 is folded upon rise and storage of the rear gate 6 so that the rear gate 6 is set to be flush with side gates 2. Further, the rear end section of the deck 1 is cut off up to position near to both side gates 2 to form a notch section 13 for storing therein a post unit 3. The length of the notch section 13 in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle body is set such that the rear face of the rear gate 6 which is folded to rise up and to be stored, mates with the rear faces of the side gates 2. Meanwhile, the post unit 3 is fitted in the notch section 13, and a spacer 14 which is joined to the upper leading edge of a post support 4 is superposed on a tail member 15 jointed to the lower surface of the rear end section of the deck 1. |
