In the case of an electrical switch having a retaining sleeve for an incandescent lamp which has no cap and whose connecting wires are passed out of the interior of the retaining sleeve through longitudinal slots and are in each case held at an attachment point of a connecting plug, it is intended to reduce the angle between the two slots, which amounts to 180 degrees on the free end of the retaining sleeve, towards the baseplate. In consequence, the connecting wires are intended to be aligned automatically from an extended position onto the attachment points.
