<p>PURPOSE:To apply a stable conveying force, by providing transmission mechanisms for applying driving forces to both the ends of each of driving shafts fitted with a takeout roller and a separation roller, to surely prevent these rollers from vibrating. CONSTITUTION:In an automatic paper feeder, a plurality of sheets of paper set on a paper feed rest are sequentially taken out by takeout rollers 235, sent in between a feed roller 236 and a separation roller 237, and separated and fed one by one to a paper-needing section. Driving force transmission mecha nisms are symmetrically disposed to apply driving forces to both the ends of each of a separation roller shaft 262 fitted with the separation roller 237, which can be optionally placed into or out of contact with the feed roller 236, and a takeout roller shaft 265 fitted with the takeout rollers 235, so as to prevent the rollers 235, 237 from vibrating. As a result, even thick paper can be stably and surely conveyed.</p> |
