PURPOSE:To guide correctly a carriage main body in the diametrical direction of a disk by including a guide rail parallel to the diametrical direction of the disk, and a ball bearing pivoted at the carriage main body and abutted on the circumference surface with a U-shaped groove, and rotating the bearing along a guide rail. CONSTITUTION:A ball bearing 14 is pivoted through a supporting shaft 14a to a carriage main body 4, and the circumference surface with the U-shaped groove abuts on a guide rail part 12 of a guide member 11. A ball bearing 15 is pivoted through a supporting shaft 15a to an elastic member 16 such as a plate spring fixed to the carriage main body 4. Since the guide member 11 is molded by drawing processing, two guide rail parts 12 and 13 are high in accuracy of parallelism, ball bearings 14 and 15 are rotated along the guide rail parts 12 and 13 of the member 11, then, the carriage main body 4 is not subject to oscillation and shifted smoothly, and the bearing 15 is pressured to the guide rail part 13 in accordance with a tension of the elastic member 16. Thus, the assembling and adjusting can be executed easily with high accuracy. |
