PURPOSE:To prevent accumulation of wear powder and prevent interfer of release action of a diaphgram spring by forming a clearance between a clutch cover and a wire ring on the portion except tabs of the clutch cover. CONSTITUTION:A notch 24 is formed on the portion of an inner peripheral unit 12 of a clutch cover where tabs are not provided. The notch 14 is formed so that it goes outward tothe radial direction of the clutch cover 10 over the full width between tabs 14 adjacent with each other so as to expose a wire ring 20, and the wire ring 20 and the notch 24 are separated with a clearance L1. As projection of the tab 14 becomes larger by forming the notch 14 on the inner peripheral unit 12, hardening is applied to an edge of the tab 14 so as to obtain the strength of the tab as usual. |
