The protective covering for table crockery is designed to eliminate washing-up, and consists of a thin transparent, flexible plastic sheet or film (2), made of polythene. The sheet is heat-resistant and forms a lining (4) for the inside cavity of the plate or dish (1). The periphery of the lining sheet (2) is extra-thick to form a rim (3) enabling it to be fixed directly underneath the rim of the plate or dish. The sheet (2) can be easily detached from the dish or plate and thrown away after use. |
