PURPOSE:To register effectively address information even when an entry has an error by selecting the entry to be accessed through the addition of the content of a management flag provided to each entry constituting a directory. CONSTITUTION:An entry string in a directory group 11 is selected by a low- order ADDRL of given address information10. Then a comparator circuit 15 compares an ADDRu as to the lowest access priority in L0-L2 and when coincident, a coincidence signal is outputted. When both the ADDRu are coincident as the result of comparison, since the given ADDRu is registered in the entry already, the counter processing is executed and the access priority of the entry is increased to the highest value. When a parity error is detected by a parity check circuit 14, the level of the management flag M of the entry is brought into logical 1, which represents registration disable management flag M of the entry, by the signal WE from a control circuit 16. Thus, a faulty entry is not accessed again at all. |
