A stabilized coenzyme test composition comprises reduced nicotinamide - adenine - dinucleotide (diphosphopyridine - nucleotide) and/or reduced nicotinamide - adenine - dinucleotide - phosphate (triphosphopyridinenucleotide) together with at least one SH- group containing compound, for example glutathione, cysteine, cysteine carbamide, acetyl cysteine, homocysteine, thiolactone, N- acetyl-homocysteine thiolactone, thioglycollates, dithiothreitol. Examples relate to compositions for the determination of glutamatepyruvate transaminase, glutamate-oxalacetate transaminase, lactate dehydrogenase, aldolase, pyruvate kinase, sorbitol dehydrogenase, malate dehydrogenase adenosine-5<SP>1</SP>-triphosphate,α-hydroxy-butylate-dehydrogenase, creatine phosphokinase, glutamate dehydrogenase, glutathione reductase, glucose. The test compositions are prepared 'by dissolving all components in water, adjusting the pH to 7.6 with sodium hydroxide solution and lyophilising.</p> |
