PURPOSE:To ensure self-diagnostic processing of the system at error detection by transferring a trigger signal from a trigger signal generating means to a disgnostic device of the system. CONSTITUTION:When the system is set to the self-diagnostic mode, a microprocessor 10 executes the self-diagnostic processing based on a diagnostic program stored in a memory 11. When an error of the memory 11 is detected, the processor 10 outputs a required address to a trigger signal generating circuit 12 through a bus 13. That is, an address data is inputted to a decoder 20 in the circuit 12 through an address line 21 and a memory access pulse MP is fed to an input terminal E from the processor 10. Thus, the result of decoding is outputted from a decoding output line 22 and a signal outputted from one line is transferred to the diagnostic device as a trigger pulse P. The diagnostic device uses the pulse P to analyze the operation of the circuit having an error such as the memory 11 thereby troubleshooting a faulty component. |
