PURPOSE:To provide an acrylic adhesive which has excellent peel strength and impact bond strength and is radical-polymerizable, consisting of a bifunctional epoxy (meth)acrylate, other (meth)acrylate monomer and synthetic high-molecular polymers. CONSTITUTION:An adhesive compsn. contains a bifunctional epoxy (meth) acrylate (A) obtd. by reacting a dibasic acid with a beta-methyl-epihalohydrin- derived bifunctional epoxy compd. to extent the molecular chain and further reacting (meth)acrylic acid therewith to introduce polymerizable double bonds into terminals, a (meth)acrylate monomer (B) other than that used in component A, and synthetic high-molecular polymers (C). Since the adhesive compsn. is radical-polymerized by heating and cured, the compsn. as such can be used as a one-pack heat-curing adhesive. However, it is preferred that a radical polymn. initiator and a curing accelerator are added thereto to use it as a quick-curing adhesive.
