PURPOSE:To yield a liq. silicone rubber base excellent in fluidity readily and inexpensively in the absence of any plasticizer, by heating a paticular formulated organopolysiloxane in advance and incorporating an inorg. filler therein. CONSTITUTION:An organopolysiloxane having a viscosity at 25 deg.C of 100-100,000 cP and two or more alkenyl groups bonded to silicon atoms in a molecule (e.g., dimethylpolysiloxane terminated by dimethylvinylsilyl groups at the both ends) is prepd. Said organopolysiloxane is put into a mixer, etc. and heated to 100-300 deg.C, and an inorg. filler (e.g., wet silica or carbon black) is added to it with mixing, thus yielding the intended liq. silicone rubber base. By adding a hardener to said rubber base and heat-curing, a silicone rubber elastomer may be yielded with good workability.
