PURPOSE:To retrieve information recorded without using many keys and a display by installing a recording means, and outputting image information concerning the recorded titled in a lump as a heading as it does. CONSTITUTION:At a cassette fitting part 15, an audio cassette tape is installed, and image information is recorded. When the titled information is read through an image pick-up element, etc., a CPU 35 rewinds a cassette tape, executes the heading of the area for the titled of the head and writes the image information concerning the stored titled to the area. When it is desired to be known what image information is recorded in the cassette tape, a function key 'List output' of a key input part is pushed down. Thus, the titled part of respective pieces of image information recorded at the cassette tape is read and printed by a printer 34. Thus, the information recorded without using many keys and a display can be retrieved.
