PURPOSE:To provide the titled compsn. which little causes bubbling and gives block articles having excellent bond strength, elasticity and resistance to water, aging and light, containing a latex obtd. by polymerizing a polymerizable monomer in the presence of an emulsifier. CONSTITUTION:100pts.wt. conjugate diolefin such as 1,3-butadiene or monomer mixture (A) thereof with other copolymerizable monoolefin (e.g. styrene) is emulsion-polymerized in the presence of 0.2-10pts.wt. oligomer (B) having an MW of 500-10,000 and formula I or II (wherein R1 is a 5-20 C alkyl; R2-R7 are each H, a 1-5 C alkyl, carboxyl, carboxymethyl, etc.; X is a group of formula III, IV or V, etc.; Y is a group of formula VI or VII, etc.; Z is sulfo or a group of formula VIII, etc.; a, b, c are each 0-100) as an emulsifier to obtain a latex contg. a (co)polymer having a glass transition temp. of -70 deg.C or above. If desired, additives such as filler, emulsifier, stabilizer, antioxidant, ultraviolet light stabilizer, vulcanizing agent, vulcanization accelerator, thickener, etc. are added to the latex. |
