PURPOSE:To improve the vibration-resisting quality of electronic equipment by changing the spring constant of a damping device for adjusting the resonance point and preventing the occurrence of acceleration over a predetermined level. CONSTITUTION:In a normal vibrating condition, a special damping device 3 and a general damping device 4 work concurrently and the characteristics of curves 7 are given with a resonance point W2 due to a synthetic spring constant. When a vibratory frequency nears the resonance point W2, generated acceleration increases. As soon as it has exceeded a predetermined acceleration level 9, the damping member of the foregoing damping device 3 gives a slip and this device becomes free. Consequently, the said spring constant is changed over, giving the characteristics of curves 6 with a resonance point W1, and generated acceleration rapidly gives a drop. The vibration-resisting quality of electronic equipment is thereby improved. |
