PURPOSE:A novel complex useful as a drug having high substained releases effect of ofloxacin, showing no bitter taste, comprising a complex consisting of ofloxacin and a high polymer such as carboxylvinyl polymer, etc. CONSTITUTION:A complex consisting of one or more high polymer compounds selected from carboxy vinyl polymer, sodium polyacrylate, carrageenan, and xanthan gum, and 9-fluoro-3-methyl-10(4-methyl-1-piperazinyl)-7-oxo-2,3-dihy-dro-7 H-pyrido[1,2,3,de]-1,4-benzoxazine-6-carboxylic acid(ofloxacin). The powder x-ray diffraction pattern is completely different from that of ofloxacin, the complex has improved substained release effect of main drug, and show no bitter taste of the main drug at all. |
