PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of malfunction, such as oblique printing, a decrease in a distance between letters, by a method wherein, since a paper is secured upright in a position during insertion of the paper, after the paper is completely pulled out during pull-out, the papers are progressed to their respective next motion. CONSTITUTION:Paper detecting sensors A and B are located at right and left ends 5 and 6 of the inner side of a paper width in a paper securing mechanism. The paper securing mechanism is controlled by means of a theoretical product signal AXB from the paper detection sensors during insertion of a paper. In a fig. (a), outputs of the sensors A and B are both L, in a fig. (b), the output of the sensor A is H, that of the sensor B is L, and AXB is L. The paper is not secured, and is brought into contact with a paper control plate 10 to control a position, and is set at a specified position. In a fig. C, AXB is in creased to H, and the paper is secured. When the paper is pulled out, a theoreti cal sum A+B of the paper detecting sensor is used. Thus, in the figures (a) and (b), the signal is H, and it is not decreased to L until the paper is brought into a state shown in a fig. C, and it is decided that the paper is completely pulled off. This prevents the occurrence of malfunction. |
