<p>PURPOSE:To enable the continuous feed of the required number of arbitrary papers to paper feed part, by a method wherein the upper surface of a paper feed cassette forms a paper feed table, and an automatic paper feeding device, which feeds the papers on the paper feed table to the paper feed part, is located on the paper feed cassette. CONSTITUTION:The upper surface of a paper feed cassette 4 forms a paper feed table 10, and the required number of arbitrary papers P2 is placed on the paper feed table 10 for setting. A paper feed roller 43 of an automatic paper feed device 11 located on the paper feed cassette 4 is forced into pressure contact with the paper P2, and the paper P2 is taken out from the paper feed table 10. The paper is fed between separating rollers 51 and 52, the papers are separated one by one for feed, and the papers are continuously fed one by one to a paper feed part 6 through a relay roller 53. In which case, when the paper P2 is set to the automatic paper feed device 11, the motion mode of an image forming device is shifted to an automatic paper feed mode, effected by the automatic paper feed device 11, with the aid of a control device, and after duplicating motion is completed, the motion mode is restored to a cassette paper feed mode effected by the paper feed cassette 4.</p> |
