PURPOSE:To maintain good performance of an engine keeping fixed mixing ratio and not changing compression ratio of fuel, by supplying fuel of two or more kinds with an octane number different from each other, respectively contained in a separate tank, to the engine by the fixed mixing ratio. CONSTITUTION:Alcohol A and gasoline G of single kind are individually contained in plural tanks 1, 2, respectively, and each tank 1, 2 is respectively connected with a mixer 7 through each feed pipe 5, 6 equipping respectively a feed pump 3, 4. While the mixer 7 is connected with a carburetor and a fuel injection valve additionally provided in an engine 8. Further the tank 2 is connected with said carburetor and fuel injection valve also by a feed pipe 10 equipping a feed pump 9. And each pump 3, 4, 9 is controlled by a control unit 11 on the basis of a signal from residual quantity sensors 12, 13 detecting a residual quantity of the alcohol A and the gasoline G provided in each tank 1, 2. |
