PURPOSE:To obtain an excellent disc cartridge having high reliability which does not have a detaining claw formed on a shutter, by providing a slider made of a resin having an excellent sliding characteric on the front edge of a cartridge case and by attaching the shutter on the slider. CONSTITUTION:The slider 7a is made of the resin which has the excellent sliding characteric such as nylon and polyacetal. And since a recessed groove 7b is placed so the it is laid across the guide projected line 10, the slider can be attached slidably to a cartridge case 1. The upper part and the lower part of the shutter 7 are superposed on the both sides of the cartridge case 1, and the abutting part 29, 30 which is formed on the front side in a bent shape is a little closely inserted to the pit groove part 7c of the slider, and fixed to the slider 7a by the screws 31, 31a which are mated with the screw holes 7d, 73 of the slider 7a.
