PURPOSE:To obtain the twisting cable of long size and large diameter in a narrow place by winding on a drum the parallel line cable extending gradually the element wire length of the outer peripheral side with adjusting the element wire length and by giving a twist with drawing it in the axial line direction of the fixed drum. CONSTITUTION:The parallel line cable 5 which the element wire length of the outer peripheral side is made gradually longer than the center side is wound on a drum 6 with passing the element wire 3 delivered form the bobbin 2 of a delivery machine 1 through each through hole of the element wire length adjusting device 4 consisting of plural adjusting plates 9. A twisting cable 18 is made with giving a twist to the cable 5 by drawing in the axial line 13 direction of the drum 6 without rotating with holding the end part of the cable 5 in the state of fixing the drum 6 and wound on a drum 17. The twisting cable of long size and large diameter can be thus produced continuously in a short place.
