PURPOSE:To enable additional supply of price tags, issuing of large amounts of price tags or the like to be performed in a store and enable to cope with printing on labels and tags, by a system in which a printing cassette can be detachably fitted to a table-top-type printer and a portable-type printer. CONSTITUTION:When the printing cassette is set on a main body 20 of a printer, data inputted through a keyboard 14 are stored in a memory in a controlling means 16, and displayed on a display means 15. A switch 28 is operated to drive a motor 9, and characters, numerals, bar codes or the like are printed by a thermal head 7. A continuous label material 3 thus printed is taken up by a take-up roll 31 or into a take-up cassette 34 through a feeding rollers 30. A base paper 11 is deflected from a platen 8, and is released. The tags are engaged with a feeding roller 10, and are fed while being clamped by the rollers 30. Data stored in floppy disks or the like are inputted through an interface 26. Also where the printing cassette 1 is set on a main body 40 of a portable-type printer, large amounts of price tags can be issued, and additional labels can be easily issued in a backyard or in a sales store. |
