PURPOSE:To make a driving device for medical treatment machinery in a compact shape by simultaneously generating positive pressure in the first pressure accumulator and negative pressure in the second one by the generating means for positive pressure. CONSTITUTION:The output end of a compressor 10 is connected to the first pressure accumulator 13 through a check valve 12, and to the second pressure accumulator 16 through switching valves 14, 15, and forms a closed loop system in connection with the input end of the compressor 10. Thus positive pressure can be supplied by opening the switch valve 14, and negative pressure can be one by opening the switch valve 15. The positive and negative pressure can be controlled by controlling the opening and closing operations of the switch valves 18, 19 so that the positive and negative pressures detected by pressure detecting means 21, 22 may be equal to the set points of the positive and negative pressures. Consequently the only one pressure generating means can generate both the positive and negative pressures to make the driving device in a compact shape.
