PURPOSE:To stop operation of auxiliary equipments only at starting and running for assured accelerating performance by providing arithmetic means for calculating speed ratio of a fluid coupling and comparing means for making a comparison with a predetermined area indicating amplification of torque so as to accurately discriminate acceleration. CONSTITUTION:An electronic control circuit 31 enters outputs from a vehicle speed detector 32 for measuring the vehicle speed in form of electric signal and a throttle opening degree detector 33 for measuring the opening degree of the throttle in from of electric signal, and discriminates in which area of a previously formed speed change map these two signals are positioned for opening and closing control of the solenoid valve 26. The circuit 31, which discriminates whether or not operation of a compressor 51 of a cooling air conditioner is to be inhibited, calculates the current speed ratio of the torque converter, and if it is above a reference speed ratio, a low-level signal is transmitted to turn on the compressor 51, and if it is below the reference, a command is sent to turn off the compressor 51. |
