PURPOSE:To obtain images of high quality by providing a member which cleans a magnetic drum with a prescribed elastic force before the next imaging pattern formation after a remaining toner after pattern transfer on the magnetic drum is removed by the first cleaning means. CONSTITUTION:A latent image recorded on a magnetic drum 1 is developed by a developing device 12 and is transferred by a means 5, and the remaining toner on the drum 1 is swept away by the first cleaning members 14 and 15, and magnetic recording is erased by a means 13, and the magnetic drum 1 is returned to the position of a recording head 2 again. A subscanning base 23 is guided by shafts 51 and 52 to move in the direction perpendicular to the plane of the paper, and the next signal is written by the recording head 2. The second cleaning member 6 attached to the subscanning base 23 consists of an elastic member such as sponge or the light and rubs the surface of the magnetic drum 1 to remove the remaining toner completely before patterning of the image in the developing device 12. Thus, image are made vivid and the life of the recording head 2 is extended. |
